4Cs Annual FREE Children's Fair is just 10 days away on Saturday, May 18th from 10am-1pm in Hayward. We are excited to welcome more than two dozen community partners including Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation Bus, Hayward Public Library's Curbie, Hayward Firefighters Local 1909 Fire Engine & Royal Ambulance. We'll be providing lunch for all thanks to Community Kitchens Oakland, groceries from Alameda County Community Food Bank, and books for every kid from Oakland Literacy Coalition. Additionally, we'll have entertainment, balloon twisters, arts & crafts, a special appearance from Bluey and more! About us
4Cs is a nonprofit family resource agency dedicated to strengthening children, families and child care providers in Alameda County. 4Cs is committed to the development of an integrated, coordinated system of quality and affordable child care services for all families and children. Our resource and referral services are available to all parents, regardless of income. 4Cs has nearly fifty years of experience in providing child care referrals, assistance and training. It is a highly valued advocate for children, child care legislation, and higher standards for child care services and programs within Alameda County. 4Cs: - Provides resource and referrals for licensed, affordable, quality child care and education. - Strengthens families, parents and guardians through child care education and payment assistance programs. - Offers training, business counseling, professional development support and funding to child care providers. - Provides diapers, wipes, food, clothing, and other essential supplies to families and children throughout the county - Assists families with free tax preparation and filing and free car seat installation checks 4Cs staff of dedicated experts coordinates child care resources, administers payment assistance programs, and provides other essential supports for 18,000 children, families and child care providers. The agency helps close to 3100 families find affordable child care, and receives 8,000 requests each year from families and child care professionals seeking advice on child related services.

We are still in gratitude for the incredible success of our first annual AD 20 Diaper Distribution in partnership with Assemblymember Liz Ortega. It truly took a village - including Benito Delgado-Olson and the team from SupplyBank.org and Savitha Moorthy and the Tandem, Partners in Early Learning crew and dozens of event co-sponsors and volunteers - to make the day a success. Together, we distributed more than 174,000 diapers to 600 children. For the 450 families we served, their diaper need has been met at least through the end of the year and, for that, we are thankful!
